    Instructors: Cody Grodzki and Moe' Corbett 10am-4pm If you are an experienced routesetter seeking a clearer understanding of high-level bouldering routesetting, this workshop is for you!   • Building Better Rounds- Thur

    Instructors: Ally Cruz and Blake Green Thursday December 14th 8am-4pm -How do we fairly challenge competitors with widely ranging levels of ability? -What round concepts transfer from boulder comps to rope comps? -How do we create a round where the movement of the climbers on the wall is the visual focal point? This clinic will be a mixture of classroom discussion of concepts as well as setting draft ideas in small teams for a hypothetical round. We'll conclude with a debrief and Q&A.

  • Routesetting Refinement - Fri

    Instructors: Sarah Filler and Pierre Despagne Friday December 15th 8am-4pm During this workshop we will explore route setting from a different angle, studying decision making, hold selection, tweaks and how it impacts the quality of the boulders. Whether in a competition or commercial environment a lot of conscious and unconscious decisions are made, we will try to dissect and understand why and how we do what we do. This workshop is meant for advanced setters, looking to uncover a new depth.
